Is It Fair To Release Michael Jackson’s songs after his death?

Question by Debra D: Is It Fair To Release Michael Jackson’s songs after his death?
Michael Jackson’s song A Place with No Name is going to be released. It’s not known when the song was recorded. There is no firm estimate of unreleased songs from the King of Pop. Sony Music chairman and CEO Tommy Mottola had this to say:
“There were so many recordings, and so many of them were great,” he said. “It doesn’t mean these unreleased songs were any less great; it just happened to be the other songs that were picked.”

Michael said in the interview with Oprah in 1993 he’s a perfectionist and never satisfied with his work. He told Martin Bashir (who should rot in hell) that for every song he records he writes 100 more. Is it fair to Michael that songs he wrote and recorded are being released now, especially by Tommy Mottola who Michael referred to as the devil. If Michael was a perfectionist maybe all those songs never met his standards for himself or his fans and he may not have wanted them ever to be released. I know the family has made a deal with SONY for the sake of the kids and their future estate but do you think it’s wrong to release songs? I think the fact that Michael didn’t plan on introducing any new songs at his This Is It concert if he had lived proves to me he never wanted them released or he would have planned on singing them at the concerts in London.
What are your thoughts on this? Pedophile and insulting comments will be reported. The man deserves respect for his music and other comments aren’t about this question.

Who thinks it would be good to have these guys change their theme music in the WWE?

Question by Raiden: Who thinks it would be good to have these guys change their theme music in the WWE?
All these guys have had basically the same theme for a long time now and while they are good could they not benefit from a change?
1.The Undertaker he has except for his American Badass gimmick he has really ever changed it much.
2.Shawn Micheals he is no longer the Heartbreak Kid and so the song is really outdated.
3.Triple H wish he would of used the King of Kings theme more often then he did.
4.Tommy Dreamer give him back his Man In the Box theme.
they are a bunch of themes that would suit the characters today. They can be just as good.
Example Look when they changed Kanes music months ago doyou not like it just as much.
Another is Reye He always changes his theme up just a little and no one has a problem with it.

Best answer:

Answer by nishanth02
They should all keep it. Their themes kick ash.

For all guitarists who like multiple genres of music, here’s a survey…?

Question by American Guitarist: For all guitarists who like multiple genres of music, here’s a survey…?
First off, what was the first genre of music you first loved? Then, how did you start to like other genres of music? Through your guitar teacher, through realizing that your favorite guitarist could play that specific genre or what?

Here’s an example, as well as my answer:

I first loved rock–Badfinger and other classic rock bands. Then, I started to get into the blues, after seeing Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Tommy Castro live one year. After I was into classic rock and blues, I eventually started to listen to Scorpions, Whitesnake and a few other 80′s metal bands and started to get into metal (not just 80′s metal–but some newer metal, etc.). Eventually, my brother started listening to country radio–when rock radio started to get too repetitive. I soon started to admire great guitar work of guys such as Brad Paisley (who’s now my favorite guitarist), Brent Mason, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, etc. From country, I even started listening to bluegrass, after getting into mandolin and learning a bit of mandolin. Of course, it wasn’t until after hearing a Brad Paisley instrumental, “Time Warp,” in which he played multiple genres–country, jazz and blues–that I started to get into jazz. Now I like Mike Stern, Wes Montgomery and quite a few other jazz guitarists as well as other jazz musicians. I’ve also recently started to admire Western swing and stuff like that.

So, guitarists–how has your musical taste evolved since you first fell in love with one genre of music?

Best answer:

Answer by Ace Explosion [Krokodile Shears]
Classic Rock – like KISS, Stones, AC/DC (Dont worry I progressed to better Music)

Other Genres? My taste evolved like music, Black Sabbath led to Priest and Maiden. They led to Metallica and Megadeth. They led to all sorts of thrash and then i went back to learn about the older bands again

My uncle is an amazing guitar player, being in multiple bands in his life (basically cover bands in the 80′s), he can play almost any Rush and Zeppelin song, also a lot good sounding stuff like Diary of a Madman – Ozzy, and Dream Warriors from Dokken. He has been the biggest influence on my music taste, the first riff I ever played was Day Tripper from the Beatles.
